Artist Bio
Carol Workman
An Autistic girl navigating the world through her love of animals, places, buildings, and art.

I have many hats, figuratively and literally. At my heart, though, I am an artist/designer.
I studied architecture at Queens University in Belfast, Northern Ireland where I developed my technical skills in design but felt restricted by the essence of architecture after completing my degree.
My art is varied but usually involves a nod to the natural world. I was raised in a farming family and surrounded by animals and my first love has always been animals and nature.
I was diagnosed with autism at 24 and I put some of my variability of design down to my unique view on the world and my own changeable personalities.

"If I sit around drawing all day I might as well make a living out of it."
